Set many many years after the Dragons' War, the Broadlands is a fractured land. Levalon, destroyed in the twin calamities, is a wasteland of sunken ruins and waist-high water. The Rule of Dolan has been forgotten as Mages terrorize the nations from the expanded Traitor's Redoubt. Warders kill with impunity while the once lauded Scouts have become little more than marauding bandits. A world in chaos craves order, but at what cost?
