Kent and Karl Richter are a father/son author team. Lifemagic: The Traitor's War is their first collaboration.

Karl is a tabletop game designer and co-founder of TPK Games. He lives in Santa Fe, NM with his wife Amanda. He has previously self-published the novel Smoke, Steel, and Fire.

Kent is a former thirty year professor of philosophy and religious studies. He lives in the Chicagoland area with his wife Renee. He has previously published the novel The Rapture of Michael Pryor.
